Meet Artist & Printmaker, Jo Morley.

A qualified Art Teacher, Art Life Coach and specialist Printmaker with a wealth of teaching experience. Jo has a kind, calm and nurturing approach to her teaching. Jo endeavours to make learning fun, mindful and fulfilling for all. Students are skilfully guided to practice traditional methods and take on board experimental techniques which produce exciting results!

 Skyros Holidays is in the top 10 of the best wellbeing retreats worldwide. Jo has been invited to join the 2023 and 2024 team of facilitators on Skyros Island, in Greece. Participants were given the opportunity to practice The Art of Linocut, Drawing and Painting.

    Printmaking Workshops

    With professional guidance you will create your own unique linocut prints.

    In my printmaking workshops, you will learn how to use lino to create your own original prints. I will guide you through the process step-by-step, show you the principles of relief printmaking and various ways to print in layers and using colour, working from your own personal inspiration.

    Explore your creativity in my mixed media and painting workshops.

    These fun workshops allow for play with the process of art making, painting or mixed media to a desired theme, purpose or environment. Workshops are fully inclusive and suitable for all ages.

    All workshops can be tailormade to suit individuals, small group classes or larger community and corporate events. I am flexible to work on a 1:1 basis, with studios or event organisers.

  • “Jo’s art class at our jamboree with about 30 people, was incredible and the reason it was incredible was because you had 30 grown adults coming to that session with all the usual apprehensions and fears about doing art as an adult because if you are not perfect you tend to give up, if you are not Picasso, it’s something we shy away from. And what Jo did absolutely brilliantly, it is something that will live with me for a long time, she allowed all of us to be childlike again, and create with that beautiful childlike inspiration, curiosity and within 5 minutes the whole class had taken off, we were radiant, it was joyous, it was that beautiful experience of feeling of what it was like to create again without being fearful about the outcome, and it was done so skilfully in the sense that we all drew part of the subject and then moved places.
